We'll be demonstrating a variety of fiber crafts, from raw fleeces fresh off the sheep to spinning into yarn, dyeing techniques (which we won't be demoing live because of potential mess), the design process, and knitting.

Rik has been working in the fiber world since 2010 as a yarn shop owner, knitwear designer, and yarn dyer. He's also a huge nerd with interests in fantasy, science fiction, robotics, games, baking, and more.

Sara Basile
Sara Basile has explored natural dyeing across two continents and is working with local farmers to dye their fiber before it goes to market. She's also a spinner, a knitter, and many other things.
