Education
Qubits Toy is a modular, snap fit construction toy allowing you to build geometric structures. Thanks to the built-in logic of the pieces, every design you create is highly triangulated. Smart stuff.

a veteran of the USAF who graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Architecture in 1991. During the economic downturn of 1992 I switched from being an architectural job seeker into a small business entrepreneur. From 1992 to 1997 I owned and operated a small novelty company that eventually employed 12 people with annual sales of 2.2 million during its peak years. After selling the business to a competitor I applied to the State Architects Board in 2001 and finally became a registered architect in the State of California. I have been responsible for the design development of dozens of new luxury coastal homes and several commercial retail projects in San Diego County. While still working as an architect I felt I wanted to share my knowledge of complex geometrical building systems, in 2005 I invented and patented a simplified construction toy called Qubits. The toy is finding a niche in the crowded toy industry by getting acceptance at major Art/Science Centers, Children's Museums, Makerspaces, and STEM classes. A father of three children who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of North Carolina with my wife (Lisa Burginger) who also works as my business partner since 2004.
